We headed over to Lake Oswego this last Friday to work with Alexis on some portraits at her home. We will be photographing her Bat Mitzvah later this Spring and are looking forward to that big day!

Ben + Steph's Mt Hood wedding

What an amazing experience it was to photograph Ben and Steph's wedding! They were married on the slopes of Mt Hood Meadows. Literally, we had to take the ski lift and ski down to the ceremony location. They met snowboarding and both love the outdoors so it fit them perfectly! They continued the celebration downtown and held a reception at the fun Screening Room in NW Portland. We loved every little moment of this day and how unique all of the events were. The sweetest moment of the day was when Ben surprised Steph with a song he wrote just before they danced their first dance.

Brie + Brandon's engagement shoot

We headed down to our old stomping grounds, Corvallis, a couple days ago and met up with Brie and Brandon for their engagement shoot. The day was beautiful and we really enjoyed working with these two. A fun moment was when we went to play pool at McMenamins and we set up the 7 and 11 ball next to eachother for a shot. Those numbers represent their July 11th wedding. We loved that idea!

With the blossoms on the trees and the sun peeking through the clouds, it is safe to say our engagement shoot season is officially started!

Josh's photo on Falling Up's CD cover!

Josh was approached last year by the record company for the band "Falling Up" to see if they could use one of his photos for a CD cover. The band is from Oregon, but they tour all around the west coast and have several CD's already out. Josh and I went to Border's in Corvallis a couple days ago and saw the CD right there on the rack! We couldn't believe it. question: How cool is it? answer: very!

Ben + Steph's engagement video

We got a chance to collaborate with our office mate Travis of Shields Films a couple weeks back. He came along and took video at Ben and Steph's engagement shoot at the coast. We look forward to working with Travis much more this summer. It is cool to see the video perspective along with our photos! We are so happy to talk about our all time favorite DJ for weddings and special events. He is so good, he deserves the title of "Wedding Entertainment Director." Shawn Whittemore knows how to make a party happen. Everyone always has the best time when he and his team are behind an event's entertainment. We got to work with Saint Cupcake today and photograph the packaging for their new online ordering system. You can now order their cupcakes from anywhere in the country and they show up on your doorstep. We always love working with Saint Cupcake.
