Teresa & Daniel at the Neon Boneyard

Teresa and Daniel met up with us the day after their wedding to do one last photo shoot before they were off to their honeymoon. We did the shoot at the Neon Boneyard in Las Vegas. It is a place where all the old neon signs from the strip have gone to rest. To say the least, it was the coolest place Josh and I have ever done a photo shoot and we couldn't have asked for a better couple to do the shoot with!

The sun was setting and the lighting was perfect. We wandered and found some amazing signs for backdrops. It was the perfect way to end all the wedding photography with Teresa and Daniel.

Teresa & Daniel's wedding

We posted a couple photos from Teresa and Daniel's "day after" shoot in Vegas last week but haven't shared any from their big day until now... Teresa and Daniel were married just over a week ago in the Venetian Resort and Casino right in the middle of the Las Vegas strip.

They are so fun together and do nothing but enjoy one another which made for an amazing day. You can't help but fall in love with these two, they are so sweet together! They had an intimate wedding with only their closest friends and family there to enjoy the moments. We had to stay out of the 100+ degree weather all day, but thankfully we took them out the next evening to get some more portraits at the Neon Boneyard Museum. We will be sharing those photos shortly so check back this weekend!

so I found some tubs

Josh and I have always been fascinated with these tubs outside of Rejuvination Hardware in Portland. We were driving around town yesterday and happened to have a camera on us so I asked Josh to photograph me in the tubs just for fun. We did a quick 5 minute photo shoot and the photos turned out to be fun. Thanks Josh!

Ashley & Michael's wedding ~ July 20, 2008

Here are the photos from Ashley and Michael's wedding from July 20th at the Oregon Gardens just outside of Salem. The day was fantastic! There was so much eye candy from all the details through the amazing looking couple. Josh and I took way too many photos :)

As many of our clients know... I am a sucker for details. I love all the little things that pull a wedding together and give it personality. This wedding was over the top when it came to details. I could name a hundred, but I will just mention my favorite two. The flowers were amazing. They were designed by the talented Heather of Thistle Dew Floral and Event Design. They were preserved flowers, a very cool method that keeps flowers looking great for lifetime as well as giving them a cool texture and look on the day of a wedding.

I also loved the custom fortune cookie favors. Michael proposed to Ashley with custom fortune cookies so they incorporated them into the event and I just thought they were too cute. Check out the example below along with other photos that we loved from the day.

Maggie sure gets a kick out of roller coasters and I have never really enjoyed the feeling that you get when you ride roller coasters but Maggie talked me into going with her on the Manhattan Express roller coaster in Las Vegas and I think the image speaks for itself.

SNEAK PEEK! Kristen & Nic's engagement

We met up with Kristen and Nic today at the Oswego Lake Golf Club and snapped a couple engagement photos with them. The weather was stormy but it stayed nice just long enough to get out on the course and capture some sweet moments. Check out these two photos now and check back to see more soon.

Holy Smokes we are having an amazing time here in Vegas! Teresa and Daniel were married on Wednesday and we did a day-after shoot with them last night in the Neon Boneyard, the place where all the neon signs retire to. Enjoy some of our favorites from the day after and stay tuned for many more!

Off to Vegas!

We are waiting at the Portland airport to take off for 5 days in Vegas!! Neither Josh or I have been to Vegas so it should be good times! We will be photographing an amazing wedding there so hopefully we can post some sneek peeks this week if we get a break from all the fun. Watch out Vegas... here we come!

A day in the life of Carter & Clayton

We ventured to Washington Park a couple days ago and spent the morning with Carter and Clayton. They are definitely boys! They love sports, dirt, bugs and rocks and they both can flex their super hero muscles upon command. We couldn't stop smiling the whole photo shoot.
