Theo's portrait shoot

It's hard to believe it has already been a year since we last saw Theo, he just turned 2 so it was time for another photo shoot! He was crawling last year, couldn't talk yet, and hardly had curls on his head. Now... well, he is always moving, is constantly talking and check out that head of curls! He is so curious and silly, Josh and I loved every second of his photo shoot this week. Theo is so very lucky to be the son of Jami and Matt, the owners of our favorite cupcake joint - Saint Cupcake. If you haven't been there yet, you must go in and get one of their tasty treats. They are the best!

ode to Spring

SNEEK PEEK! Theo

It had been a year since we were graced with the presence of Theo, and he didn't disappoint! We LOVED his curls and couldn't get enough of his cute little personality. Here are a few from his shoot today.

PUBLISHED! Destination I Do

On your magazine stands now is the Spring 2009 "Destination I Do" wedding magazine. Inside that magazine (pages 90 + 93 to be exact) you will find some of our photos!! The lovely Teresa Strasser (of the recent Adam Carolla Show) and her husband Dan, had us down to Las Vegas last summer to photograph their destination wedding. We had a blast taking them out to the Neon Boneyard the next day for a special shoot with just Josh and I. The photos published in the article are from that shoot.

So exciting to see our work in a nationwide magazine!! Oh, and yes, we would love more destination weddings. They are the best! If you are planning one, or know someone who is, send them our way :)

Alexis' portrait shoot

We headed over to Lake Oswego this last Friday to work with Alexis on some portraits at her home. We will be photographing her Bat Mitzvah later this Spring and are looking forward to that big day!

Ben + Steph's Mt Hood wedding

What an amazing experience it was to photograph Ben and Steph's wedding! They were married on the slopes of Mt Hood Meadows. Literally, we had to take the ski lift and ski down to the ceremony location. They met snowboarding and both love the outdoors so it fit them perfectly! They continued the celebration downtown and held a reception at the fun Screening Room in NW Portland. We loved every little moment of this day and how unique all of the events were. The sweetest moment of the day was when Ben surprised Steph with a song he wrote just before they danced their first dance.

Brie + Brandon's engagement shoot

We headed down to our old stomping grounds, Corvallis, a couple days ago and met up with Brie and Brandon for their engagement shoot. The day was beautiful and we really enjoyed working with these two. A fun moment was when we went to play pool at McMenamins and we set up the 7 and 11 ball next to eachother for a shot. Those numbers represent their July 11th wedding. We loved that idea!

With the blossoms on the trees and the sun peeking through the clouds, it is safe to say our engagement shoot season is officially started!

Josh's photo on Falling Up's CD cover!

Josh was approached last year by the record company for the band "Falling Up" to see if they could use one of his photos for a CD cover. The band is from Oregon, but they tour all around the west coast and have several CD's already out. Josh and I went to Border's in Corvallis a couple days ago and saw the CD right there on the rack! We couldn't believe it. question: How cool is it? answer: very!
