Josh got a little nerdy

Josh had a vision yesterday. He wanted to be... well... a little nerdy. Here are the results of that idea. Enjoy!

David + Danielle's Portland wedding

David and Danielle had a perfectly "Portland" wedding. They were married in the Casey Building, high atop the Pearl in downtown. They had a lovely cocktail hour just after the ceremony then everyone headed over to the East bank for dinner and dancing at ClarkLewis. If you have not been to ClarkLewis, it is a fantastic restaurant that not only looks great inside, but they serve amazing food and drinks! Definitely some of the best food I have had in Portland.

Danielle looked at me at one point during the day and said "don't you just love Portland?" And they sure do! Their love for our beautiful city was manifested in every aspect of the day. They even used a book of Portland photographs as a guest sign-in book. Loved photographing this couple's day in all of it's Portland glory!

Malkovich takes the train

John Malkovich was waiting for his ride right outside our office at the train station today. Maggie couldn't talk because she was so nervous but I managed to snap a shot with her iphone for proof. I couldn't pass up shaking the hand of such an A list celebrity. He was a really nice person for the brief moment we crossed paths.

Emily + Ty's engagement shoot

We met up with Emily and Ty last week for their engagement shoot and had a great time walking around the pearl district for the first half of the afternoon. We ended up finishing on the east bank, walking around the more industrial areas. We came across one of the best shopping spots in Portland - City Liquidators - and had to take some photos out in front. We found a dying red balloon and gave it one last moment to make someone happy. We loved ending the shoot with such a sweet little (free) prop. Enjoy!

Kelsey + Matt's engagement shoot

We met Kelsey and Matt (and Matt's gorgeous car) out in Forest Grove for their engagement shoot. They are actually great friends with Alisa and Jared, from the last engagement session we posted. We did both shoots just a day apart out in the beautiful landscape of Forest Grove. We headed to David Hill Winery for the first part of the evening and then ended up on a country road for some photos with Matt's Mustang. It's not often we get such great props to work with! They are bringing the mustang to their wedding so we cant wait to see what photos we come up with.
