Heather + Al's engagement shoot

We had a such a great time meeting Heather and Al the other day for their engagement shoot. They were playful and fun and oh so photogenic! We decided to do the shoot under the St Johns Bridge just North of Portland. None of us had been there before, but Josh and I had always wanted to shoot there. It turned out to be a perfect location. It was beautiful for photos, and their dogs had a great time playing in the water at the beginning of the shoot. We ended the shoot and headed to McMenamins and sat in the same booth that Al proposed to Heather in. It was fun to hear about his "smooth" moves when he asked Heather to marry him. We can't wait to work with these two again in a few short weeks on their wedding day.

Brian + Andrea's engagement shoot

Brian and Andrea were just married on Sunday out in Newport Oregon. They came to Portland last week for an engagement shoot with the two of them and Andrea's son, Brian. They came all the way from Germany, so we decided to take them to the Washington Park to show them the rose garden. We started the shoot there and then ended the shoot walking around the Pearl. They originally met at a Starbucks so we had to make a stop there along the way for some photos.

Tinh + Uyen's engagement shoot

Tinh and Uyen met us at Cannon beach for thier engagement shoot. We had fun walking around Haystack Rock to get the shoot started. We ended the shoot up on a grassy hill where Uyen put on a traditional Vietnamese gown that she had custom made for their upcoming wedding. Looking forward to photographing their big day on Saturday!

Michael + Erin's wedding

It has been so fun to look over these photos again this past week. Michael and Erin had a lovely wedding up at Bridal Veil Lakes in the Gorge. It is by far our favorite venue to shoot at. There is not a bad angle! It also helps to have a photogenic couple ;) The day was stunning from start to end, here are our favorite shots from the day. Congrats Michael + Erin!

We have to give a shout out to some of our favorite vendors that made this wedding so great! Shawn Whittemore from Event Team Entertainment kept the guests happy and on the dance floor. And our favorite invitation designer, Lindsay of Linzmarie Designs did the invites, programs and place setting decorations.

day at the park with Kiersten

Yesterday evening I was lucky enough to go to the Crystal Springs Rhododendron Park with my niece Kiersten and my sister Nicole. We had fun feeding the ducks and running around looking for squirrels. She sure is growing fast, she is only a couple months away from being 2! How time flies! Little trips like these are the ones I cherish the most.
