Met with Candy yesterday for a fun shoot around some industrial areas around NW and NE Portland. Candy has such a fantastic face! I loved photographing her. We will be doing some more projects together soon so stay tuned! She is the lead singer in a local rock band called Cold Metal. Check them out here: http://www.myspace.com/coldmetalmusic

Caitlin + Dave's engagement
We are already heading into our 2010 wedding season! We met with Caitlin and Dave last week for their engagement shoot, the first of our 2010 couples. They are very into Portland and wanted the engagement shoot to reflect their love for the city. They also love to hike and explore Oregon so they took us up to Forest Park for the end of the shoot. I'm a little embarrassed to say I hadn't ever been there in the last 3 years that I have lived here, but now I am dying to go back and explore! What an amazing park right in the heart of the city.
Looking forward to working with these two again next summer! Until then, stay tuned for more engagement shoots this fall.

Ryan + Stephanie's wedding
Ryan and Stephanie were married in Oregon City at the Abernethy Center earlier this summer. There is always a chance of rain in Oregon, but the summer months are always pretty safe. In fact, in 5 years, this was the first rainy ceremony Josh and I have ever shot in the summer! To say the least, love endured through the rough weather and these two were so happy to be getting married to eachother. They are so sweet together and Ryan knows exactly how to make his bride laugh. They have so much fun together and we wish them the best! Congrats!

Brie + Brandon's wedding
Brie and Brandon were married down in Corvallis at the Hanson Country Inn. A Lovely bed and breakfast that is a blast to shoot at. They had a Happily Ever After theme combined with a casual tropical theme - hence the goldfish in the center pieces. It was a fantastic day filled with smiles and sweet love between these two.
