Jen + Nels wedding

Jen and Nels were married just outside of Corvallis at the Willamette Legacy Vineyard. It was such a perfect day from start to finish (other than the heat!). The venue was set atop a hill overlooking the beautiful valley farmlands. There were hay fields surrounding the property and trees covering the top of the hill where the wedding took place. Jen put together most of the wedding all by herself, from making the bridemaids dresses and jewelry to the programs to the table settings. She did an amazing job creating a low-key but classy Oregon vineyard wedding. Their wedding was by far one of my most favorite to photograph to date! Congrats you two!

Alisa + Jared's wedding

Alisa and Jared were married up at the Bridal Veil Lakes this summer. It is by far our favorite venues to photograph at! Not only was the scenery beautiful, but these two made the day perfect! They are so in love and they surround themselves with great friends and family. I went to school with Alisa at OSU (go Beavs!) and she is a very talented graphic designer. Along with her creative skills, she has tons of artist friends that helped put the whole day together. Everything from the wine to the flowers to the cakes and hanging candles, the day was put together by friends and family. Wow! right? The day was stunning! Congrats you two!

Candy's model shoot

Met with Candy yesterday for a fun shoot around some industrial areas around NW and NE Portland. Candy has such a fantastic face! I loved photographing her. Caitlin + Dave's engagement

We are already heading into our 2010 wedding season! We met with Caitlin and Dave last week for their engagement shoot, the first of our 2010 couples. They are very into Portland and wanted the engagement shoot to reflect their love for the city. They also love to hike and explore Oregon so they took us up to Forest Park for the end of the shoot. I'm a little embarrassed to say I hadn't ever been there in the last 3 years that I have lived here, but now I am dying to go back and explore! What an amazing park right in the heart of the city.

Looking forward to working with these two again next summer! Until then, stay tuned for more engagement shoots this fall.
