Melissa + Josh's wedding

Josh and Melissa had one of the best weddings this past summer. They are so over-the-top in love with each other. Combine that with 300+ guests, cotton candy, a rap from 3 bridesmaids and a special dance by the ring bearer and flower girl and you have the right ingredients for the perfect day. It has been such a pleasure working with Josh and Melissa from the day they got engaged, to their engagement shoot and finishing up on their wedding day. They are a great example of true love; listen to one another, have patience with one another and always ALWAYS have fun!

Kathleen + James' wedding

Our associates Kim and Juan shot Kathleen and James' wedding down in Salem this summer. The day was simple and sweet: jars of Jam for the guests, cowboy boots on the bride and hay bales for seating around the tables. A great day from start to finish.

Brett + Stephanie's wedding

Brett and Stephanie were married this summer at Pumpkin Ridge Gold Club just west of Portland. The day and this couple were stunning! One of the best parts of the day was being able to drive out on the course with the bride and groom just after the ceremony. They even took off their shoes and hopped into a sand trap for some photos! That was a first!

Tinh + Uyen's wedding

Tinh and Uyen were married here in Portland a couple months ago. The traditional Vietnamese ceremony was held at Uyen's house in Portland. I really enjoy photographing and learning about other cultures so it was a fun day! It also helped that Tinh, Uyen and all of their friends were really playful and easy to get along with all day. In between the Catholic ceremony in Portland and the reception in Beaverton, we stopped at Reed College in SE Portland for some photos. The campus was the perfect backdrop for some fun photos with Tinh, Uyen and their wedding party. I especially liked the superman jump that the guys did. It was a fun day from start to finish and I'm excited to finally post these!

Brian + Andrea's coast wedding

Brian and Andrea were married in one of my favorite Oregon coast cities - Newport. It has a diverse landscape and cool sights to see. From a cobblestone beach to a lighthouse to the long sandy beach, there are plenty of gorgeous places to photograph! Their ceremony was on the north side of the city on a cliff overlooking the coastline. SO gorgeous! The sun shined down all day and this couple was glowing. They are so kind and sweet to one another. It was a pleasure getting to know them and work with them on their wedding day. Congrats to Brian and Andrea!

SNEAK PEEK! Darrin + Erin

Fun shoot with some friends! Can't wait to share the rest.

Kraus Family shoot

We met up with the Kraus Family to photograph their two boys and dog. It was a gorgeous day just outside of Canby Oregon. We stopped by a pumpkin patch and found a beautiful wooded area where we did most of the shoot. Here are some of the best from the session.

Hong Family portraits

We drove down to Corvallis a couple weeks back to photograph the Hong family. They have two boys - Benjamin and Brandon - and a brand new baby girl named Pyper. We did the shoot in their house and backyard. It was a gorgeous afternoon and these two boys kept us smiling the whole shoot. The first shot is the classic Elvis pose in case you were wondering.

Barlow Family shoot

It was such a pleasure meeting and working with Shonda and her family a couple weeks ago. Shonda is a very talented portrait and wedding photographer in Vancouver and Portland. (Shonda Barlow Photography) I know as a photographer that we rarely get photographed since we are always the ones taking the photos. So it was a huge compliment when she reached out to us to photograph her family! Her girls, Aydri and Brielle, were so sweet and a pleasure to work with. They became especially adorable when they saw the dolls that Shonda brought for them as a present for being good during the photo shoot. I wish that trick worked with all photo shoots! :P

We started the shoot in Happy Valley where we found several colorful trees for backdrops. We ended on Powell Butte - one of my favorite spots to walk around and soak in some beautiful Portland scenery. It was a fun shoot and I hope to work with this great family again!
