Having a hard time thinking of a gift for your loved one? We know it's difficult to always be original when it comes to Valentine's Day so Josh and I happy to announce our second annual Valentine's Day Contest. Josh and I are dedicating February 12th to some lucky couples who will win free 20-minute mini portrait shoots with us. Along with the shoot we are giving a free 8x10 print! Submit your questions to us before February 10th. See poster below for details.

VENDOR SPOTLIGHT: LinzMarie Designs

Our good friend Lindsay was originally a bride of ours a couple summers back and we have been so lucky to keep her as a friend over the years. She is running a successful design company LinzMarie Designs and many of her projects are wedding related - save the dates, invites, programs, favors, etc. I just Love all of the work she does. She customizes each project to fit the couple and their day. Not only will you get amazing, eye-catching design, but you will get the best customer service from Lindsay. She is the sweetest person! That is always a plus when planning your wedding. Check her out and contact her today for any design you may need.

Chris + Tina's portrait session

I (Maggie) went to school at Oregon State University (GO BEAVS!) and graduated with Tina a couple years back. Tina moved with Chris to Texas so we hadn't seen eachother in a long time. She took us up on our Christmas portrait special while they were in town for the holidays, and we were glad she did! We walked around the Pearl, went out for coffee and took a couple shots with the Christmas lights after the sun went down. A favorite moment for us was when we found a shopping cart and Tina agreed to hop in.

Josh went on a walk with Sophie and she posed it up for the camera. Ain't she the cutest?

Jeff + Emily's wedding

Emily and Jeff were married just after Christmas in Lake Oswego. We had some treacherous winter weather just days before their wedding, but thankfully it cleared up just in time for the celebration. The snow even created some great backgrounds that we never see here in Portland. Emily and Jeff were so sweet together all day long. Right after they saw each other for the first time during the ceremony, they continued to glance back and forth at one another and smile. It's witnessing those little things that just make our job so fun. It was a pleasure to work with these two!
