Erin + Kevin's wedding

Erin, Kevin and thier families are from Portland but they decided to mix it up and get married a couple hours away in Bend Oregon a couple weeks back. Even though we have had a snowy winter here so far, the weather was sunny and warm out in that mountain town! We shot Kevin's sister Katie's wedding just over a year ago so we knew these people were going to party. And they did! The reception was a giant party that went long into the night. The last photo shows you how many people were still there after hours into the reception. We had such a great time with these two and their families. Congrats Kevin + Erin!

"Through the Viewfinder" opening night

Josh is participating in an art show at J-Cafe in NE Portland along with 5 other photographers that will be up for another month or so. Last night was the opening night and it was such a success! Several friends and family members came by to support all the participating artists. To say the least, I am so proud of Josh and the other artists in the show - Maria, Matt, Blue, Rebecca & Peggy. Please take the time to come by and see the show, the work is phenomenal!

You can find J-Cafe here:

And a special thanks to Kjell at Plywerk for getting the photos mounted and ready for the show! Check out his company here: Plywerk

Erin + Kevin's wedding rehearsal

We normally don't go to wedding rehearsal's but we couldn't resist when Erin and Kevin told us that everyone was going to be getting dressed up in "retro" clothing for the night. As you can see, everyone went all out and had a great time. We LOVED it! What a fun way to celebrate the night before a wedding. We loved it so much we decided to make a post just for our favorite photos from that night. Enjoy!

SNEEK PEEK! Nicole + Joe's engagement

Nicole is my cousin and when she contacted us over the holidays about shooting her wedding this summer, we just couldn't have been happier with the idea of working with her on her big day! Here are a few shots from their engagement shoot yesterday. There will be many more posted soon...

New Vintage Cameras!

Josh and I took the day off yesterday and went thrift store shopping for some new inspiration. We couldn't help ourselves and had to buy some old cameras. We both have a fascination with anything that came before digital. We could have easily bought more cameras but we stopped with these. My personal favorite is the "polaroid swinger." I can't get enough of that bad boy!
