Julie & Chris were married downtown Portland on August 31st. It was fun being able to enjoy the beautiful day with them and document their love for each other in the first couple hours as husband and wife. Our clients are trying to confuse us...

So I didn't actually realize this until last week when I made my first mistake and put the wrong name on a slideshow (eek!). I'm pretty sure all of our clients are trying to confuse Josh and I ;) SO so so many of their names overlap. Here is a rundown for you all. Crazy huh? 10 duplicate names!

Joe & Tiffany 08.18.07

Joe and Tiffany were married last month in Salem Oregon. The day was phenomenal and we LOVED the big fluffy clouds moving around in the sky all day!

Joe and Tiffany share a sweet love together. They are always laughing which is great for any relationship but it also makes them really fun to photograph! In fact their engagement shoot is one of our favorites. They were even happier on their wedding day (of course!)

One trend Josh and I have noticed is many of our clients this year are also artists in one way or another. It gives us drive to push ourselves and really try new things. I bring this up because Tiffany is a hair stylist (our third hair stylist bride this summer!) and Joe is going to school for Graphic Design (go Beavs!) I hope this trend of creative couples keeps on because it makes our work that much more creative when we get to work with people that understand us and appreciate all that we do!

Laura & Greg 08.17.07

Laura and Greg had a phenomenal wedding up at Timberline Lodge located at the top of Mount Hood. Aside from the chilly wind the day was wonderful and everyone - especially the bride and groom - fought the cold with us to get some great shots. Despite the way it looked early on, the clouds broke and the top of the mountain was out in the sun all day. The ceremony was amazing and the most beautiful part was when Laura and her father walked down the mountain side to the ceremony below as Greg and the rest of the crowd looked on.

After the ceremony and photos with the bride and groom, the party went on all night. There was tons of laughing and dancing with all of their friends and family.

Ashley & Kevin's engagement shoot

Congratulations on your Engagement!!!

Ashley and Kevin just recently became engaged and are planning on a winter wedding this year. They drove up from Salem for their photo shoot because they love coming up to Portland every chance they get. We took them out around town from 23rd street to the Pearl District down to the Bank District. We had a great time and will be seeing them again soon to photograph their wedding in December!

p.s. they both win the "best hair" contest for the year!

Sonja & Greg's wedding was held at Beckenridge Vineyard, a beautiful venue in Dallas, Oregon on August 12th.
